Dr. Yuri Kagolovsky, MD, MSc, faculty member from the Health Informatics program, and Kathryn Brillenger, MEd, faculty member from the Liberal Studies program, presented two research papers entitled "Intercultural Communication: A "Foundation" Competency in Health Informatics" and "A Systematic Approach to Using Case Studies in Health Informatics Education" at the Conference of the Working Group on Health and Medical Informatics Education of the International Medical Informatics Association (IMIA) in Buenos Aires, Argentina from October 27 – 28, 2008.
