Conestoga Information Fair Looks at Postgraduate Programs

Education is a lifelong pursuit in this age of rapidly expanding knowledge and specialization. Over the past few years, Conestoga College has significantly increased the number and scope of its postgraduate programs, which provide special and advanced skills learning opportunities for individuals who already possess a college diploma or university degree.

In order to spread the word about these programs, Conestoga is holding an information fair and open house at its Waterloo campus, located at 108 University Avenue E. The date is Wednesday, March 26, from 5-7 p.m.

Admission and parking are free, and light refreshments will be available.

Visitors will be able to meet academic program coordinators from a number of areas, such as information technology, business, engineering technology, health sciences, community services and media studies.

Postgraduate education is a growing part of Conestoga’s increasingly diverse range of learning opportunities, which is in keeping with the college’s advancement of its mandate to provide a comprehensive approach to polytechnic education.

Examples of the more than 20 programs to be featured on March 26 are: Digital Media, Environmental Engineering Applications, Computer Applications Development, Advanced Security Studies, Event Management, Online Marketing, Human Resources Management and Teaching English as a Second Language.
