Public Can See and Experience Skills Education in Waterloo

The new Waterloo campus of Conestoga College is twice the size of the former campus and offers more opportunities for skills education leading to rewarding careers.

Conestoga invites prospective students and members of the public to visit the new location (108 University Ave. E.) at a series of open houses that provide both a tour of the facility and the chance to meet with faculty and discuss programs of instruction.

The specialties of the new Waterloo site are programs in hospitality and culinary careers, as well as those in skilled trades associated with the construction industry.

The current schedule calls for open house activities to begin at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20, at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 4 and at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3.

Because the size of the tour groups is limited, advance registration is required, but the open houses are free of charge.

To register and for more information, send an email message to tourwaterloocc@conestogac.on.ca, indicating the date preferred and specifying either the hospitality tour or the trades and apprenticeship tour. Each open house and tour session starts at the time indicated and lasts approximately 90 minutes.
