Ready to go on a blind date with a live book? Student Engagement and the Library are hosting their eighth annual Human Library event at Conestoga.
Where: Learning Lab, Library Services (Doon Campus)
When: Thursday, February 14, 2019 from 10am-4pm
What/Who: The Human Books for the event are volunteers from the Conestoga and regional community that are available to be "checked out" for 15 minutes at a time by interested students, faculty and staff wanting to ask questions and learn more information first-hand about topics as being gender variant, living with a physical disability and more...
How: Register via the Co-Curricular Record (CCR) or visit the Library on February 14 to register at the event's reception table.
Why: Don't judge a book by its cover - everyone has a story to share to help break stereotypes, challenge assumptions, celebrate differences and enhance knowledge.
