The Library (Doon Campus) will reopen for service on Monday, May 7, 2012.
The Library is currently closed for restoration repairs from a previous flood. Crews have been working diligently since Friday, April 27 to replace the Library's carpet and 2/3 of its shelving.
Also part of the renovation is the second phase of consolidating the Library's Service Desks into one for the provision of seamless Research, Circulation and Media service.

Flood Damage - January 7, 2012
Over 3,000 gallons of water from a burst pipe flooded part of the Library and went below into the main cafeteria.
Renovations Initiated - April 27-May 2, 2012

The Library will be closed for repairs starting Sunday, April 29, 2012. Please note that access to the Library's study space and resources will be limited on Saturday, April 28, 2012 as the repair crews begin preparation. We are scheduled to reopen on Monday, May 7, 2012.

Looking for a great part-time student job for this Summer and next Fall/Winter?
We are recruiting enthusiastic part-time library student assistants for the Summer 2012 and Fall 2012/Winter 2013 semesters at the Doon Library Resource Centre. Duties include shelving print materials, maintaining the public printers, tidying the Library and other assigned tasks.
We need ONE Work-Study approved student assistant for the Summer 2012 semester that can work up to 24 hours per week starting in May. Shifts will fall between 8 am - 5 pm, Monday-Friday.
We are looking to hire several student assistants for the Fall 2012/Winter 2013 semesters. Shifts include evenings (5 pm - 9 pm) and weekends (Saturdays 9 am - noon or noon - 4 pm/ Sundays noon - 4 pm).
REQUIREMENTS:
ELIGIBILITY:
Applicants MUST be eligible for the Ontario Work-Study Plan.
WAGE: $10.25/hr
