Conestoga College is accepting applications for our new tuition-free Pre-Apprenticeship Training program.
This program will prepare students for in-demand Construction trades careers and will provide a head start for those wishing to start a career or achieve apprenticeship certification.
Starting in July 4, 2022, the full-time Pre-Apprenticeship Introduction to Construction Trades program will offer a blend of theory delivery with shop classes at Conestoga's Brantford Aviation campus over the course of 28 weeks.
The Introduction to Construction Trades Pre-Apprenticeship program includes theory and shop exposure to four trades: Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing and Welding and features an additional eight-week practical work placement experience.
Enrolment is limited to 18 spaces and interested candidates are required to attend an information session.
Additional sessions will be held on May 31, June 7 and June 14.
