Conestoga College is accepting applications for a new tuition-free Pre-Apprenticeship Training program.
Starting on June 6, 2022, the full-time General Carpenter Pre-Apprenticeship program will offer a blend of theory delivery with shop classes at Conestoga's Waterloo campus and the new Skilled Trades campus (Cambridge Reuter Drive) over the course of 21 weeks.
The General Carpenter Pre-Apprenticeship program includes Level 1 apprenticeship in-class training, trade exposure in Cabinetmaking, and an additional eight-week practical work placement experience. This program is for individuals under 30 years of age.
Enrolment is limited to 20 spaces. Interested candidates are required to attend a virtual information session.
Additional sessions will be held on April 28, May 4, May 11, May 19 and May 25.
