Student Engagement will host the Trans Allyship Workshop to boost students' knowledge and portfolios when it comes to supporting trans and gender variant clients, patients, friends and family.
By participating in the Trans Allyship workshop, students will:
- Increase understanding of gender identity and common experiences of people who are trans or gender non-conforming; and
- Acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to practice allyship with trans and gender non-conforming members of the community.
