Conestoga College is accepting applications for our new tuition-free Pre-Apprenticeship Training programs. Funded by the Government of Ontario, these programs will prepare students for in-demand careers and will provide a head start for those wishing to achieve apprenticeship certification.
Starting in April 2020, the Pre-Apprenticeship Cabinetmaker and General Carpenter, Pre-Apprenticeship Millwright and Electrical and the Pre-Apprenticeship Truck and Coach/Heavy Equipment Technician programs will be offered at Conestoga's various campus locations and runs full-time during the day. These program include multiple trade exposure with a Level 1 apprenticeship in-class exception and feature an eight-week practical work placement experience.
Enrolment is limited and interested candidates are required to attend an information session.
An additional pre-apprenticeship information session will be held on March 12 at the Cambridge campus.
