Conestoga College is accepting applications for our new tuition-free Pre-Apprenticeship Training program. Funded in part by the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario, the program will prepare students for in-demand careers and will provide a head start for those wishing to achieve apprenticeship certification.
Starting in April 2020, the Pre-Apprenticeship Truck and Coach/Heavy Equipment Technician program will be offered at Conestoga's Guelph campus and runs full-time during the day for 30 weeks. This program includes multiple trade exposure with Truck and Coach common core Level 1 apprenticeship in-class training and features an eight-week practical work placement experience.
Enrolment is limited to 24 spaces and interested candidates are required to attend an information session.
Additional pre-apprenticeship information session dates include January 15 and February 19 at the Guelph campus.
