Go ENG Girl

October 5, 2019

Cambridge Campus

Go ENG Girl is an opportunity for girls in grades 7-10 and their parents/caregivers to learn more about the world of engineering. Please join us at Conestoga's School of Engineering and Technology for fun, hands-on activities, guest speakers and an opportunity to interact with female faculty and current students. This annual event is sponsored by Clearpath Robotics Inc. and the Ontario Network of Women in Engineering (ONWIE).

The morning will include hands-on activities that showcase the power of engineering and career paths in this field. There will also be opportunities for participants to meet role models, learn about their work, projects and accomplishments, and gain insight into education and career possibilities.

At this event, you will

  • learn about engineering at Conestoga College,
  • meet women currently studying engineering,
  • learn about some of the amazing things women are doing in the field of engineering,
  • participate in interactive, hands-on activities, and
  • gain insight from faculty and special guest speakers.
