Dr. Amin Yazdani, director of the Canadian Institute for Safety, Wellness & Performance, will present "Inclusion of HFE Principles in the Development of a National Design Standard for Ambulances" during the 10th International Scientific Conference on the Prevention of Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders.
The presentation will focus on ambulance design standards outlines the minimum design requirements and a systems approach to developing the draft of the Canadian Ambulance Design Standard that is inclusive of Human Factor and Ergonomic elements.
In addition, Dr. Yazdani will present "Evaluation of an Information Package on MSD Prevention for Small and Micro Business in Ontario, Canada" during the 10th International Scientific Conference on the Prevention of Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders.The presentation will focus on Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSD), which represents one of the leading causes of injuries and work disabilities in Ontario.
