Hospitality Skills Training Information Session

Thinking about a career in hospitality? There is an increasing demand for talent in the hotel industry. 

This session will provide information about the free skills training program starting September 23 to prepare you for a career in hospitality with housekeeping as your stepping stone, in an industry with many opportunities for career growth.

The six-week program will provide participants with the opportunity to earn industry-specific certifications and develop the skills required for customer service in hospitality positions.

Training will include three weeks in-class (Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.) and three weeks on-the-job experience in housekeeping at a major local employer. 

To be eligible, you must be

  • a resident of Ontario, 
  • eligible to work in Canada,
  • currently seeking full or part-time employment, and
  • able to participate in the program full-time for six-weeks.
