Women in Skilled Trades Assessment Session

Applications are now being accepted for the full-time, tuition-free Women in Skilled Trades (WIST) General Carpenter Pre-apprenticeship program starting September 2019. 

Applicants that have attended a WIST Information Session and decided they would like to be considered for the program will need to attend this assessment session. Applicants will be assessed in English, math and mechanical aptitude. 

WIST is funded by the provincial Ministry of the Status of Women and designed to support low-income women who are unemployed or underemployed. The goal of the program is to prepare candidates for employment within the construction sector.

Time:

2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Conestoga College, Waterloo Campus, 108 University Avenue East, Room 1G09

Parking:

Please be advised there is an hourly charge for parking and access may be limited due to construction in the area.
