Hospitality Skills Training Information Session

Thinking about a career in hospitality?

This session will provide information about the free skills training program starting January 21 to prepare you for a career in hospitality with housekeeping as your stepping stone, in an industry with many opportunities for career growth.

The six-week program will provide participants with the opportunity to learn the skills, attitudes, behaviours and workplace culture employers expect, as well as earn a Conestoga credit toward hospitality programs. 

Training will include three weeks in-class (Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) and three weeks on-the-job experience (beginning February) in housekeeping at a major local employer. 

To be eligible, you must be

  • a resident of Ontario, 
  • eligible to work in Canada, and
  • able to participate full time for the full six-week duration. 

Time:

10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
