Knowledge Exchange: Leading Practices for BScN Students in Long-term Care

Presented by the Schlegel Centre for Advancing Seniors Care, the Knowledge Exchange: Leading Practices for BScN Students in Long-term Care one-day workshop is for college and university nursing faculty and administrators, long-term care nurses, educators and administrators. 

Featuring Dr. Veronique Boscart, RN, PhD, CIHR/Schlegel Industrial Research Chair for Colleges in Seniors Care & Director of the Schlegel Centre for Advancing Seniors Care, workshop discussions will focus on

  • trends and issues in long-term care and nursing education, 
  • role of the Registered Nurse in long-term care, 
  • mentored practicum for BScN students in long-term care project, and 
  • preparing BScN students for long-term care placements. 

Cost: $150 per person (includes parking, materials and meals).
