This event kicks off the 2018 4X4 Challenge -- a hackathon where Conestoga students from all programs are invited to flex their design skills and compete for prizes to find solutions to real-world industry challenges.
Working in teams or as individuals, students will have four days (February 27 - March 2) to design and implement solutions to real-world problems through innovation, showcasing them at the 4X4 Challenge 2018 Showcase.
The 2018 4X4 Challenge theme is Solutions for Smart Cities and Communities. Participants will be asked to design possible solutions to help municipalities become smart cities or smart communities as they look to become more open and intelligent in the way they support their citizens.
