Women in Skilled Trades Assessment Session

Applications are now being accepted for the full-time, tuition-free Women in Skilled Trades (WIST) General Carpenter Pre-apprenticeship program starting September 2017. This assessment session for invited participants will include English, mathematics and mechanical aptitude. Please attend with a pen, pencil, eraser, calculator and SIN number. 

WIST is funded by the provincial Ministry of the Status of Women and designed to support low-income women who are unemployed or underemployed. The goal of the program is to prepare candidates for employment within the construction sector.

Please be advised there is an hourly charge for parking and access may be limited due to construction in the area.
