Clothesline Project

April 6, 2017

Doon Campus

The Clothesline Project was started in 1990 to bring awareness to the issue of violence against women, representing survivors and victims by hanging t-shirts on a laundry line. Since then, colleges, universities and community groups around the world have organized their own Clothesline Projects to raise awareness and to help aid in the healing process for those who have been affected by violent crimes against women.

Hosted through the Respect Campaign and Security Services, join Student Life to decorate and hang a t-shirt as part of the Clothesline Project. Donations will go towards a local organization supporting women, children, and trans individuals. T-shirts can be decorated in advance at satellite campuses.

Time:

11:30 AM - 1:30 PM

Location:

Conestoga College, Doon Campus, 299 Doon Valley Drive, Student Life Centre
