Git With It!

May 4, 2016

Doon Campus

Discover how Git can be integrated into your current and future projects in this one hour presentation and live demonstration.

Speaker:

Phil Aylesworth, Professor, St. Clair College

Abstract:

Git is a version control system that was created by Linux developers in 2005. It allows you to track changes made to files and has options for easily updating a shared or public version of your code.

Since its release, it has found a home in the computers of many developers. Git supports graphical or command-line interfaces, although it is better understood through the command line.
