Conestoga College is proud to be hosting its first Go CODE Girl event on March 28, 2015. This annual event will feature hands-on activities and campus tours for girls in grades 9 through 11. Participants will be invited to take part in a variety of learning opportunities, such as:
- Learning about Programming, Information Technology and Engineering programs at Conestoga
- Meeting women currently studying in these fields
- Learning about some of the interesting things women in these fields are doing
- Participating in hands-on activities
- Hearing from special guest speakers
Go CODE Girl is sponsored by the Ontario Network of Women in Engineering and is hosted at schools of Engineering and Information Technology across the province each year.
