The Royal Canadian Navy will be hosting a free information session and a tour of the Navy interactive bus at Doon Campus.
The Canadian Forces offers a program called the "Non-Commissioned Member Subsidized Education Plan (NCM SEP)". While completing their education, candidates receive a salary of $31,956 during the first year and $39,072 during the second year. They also reimburse all tuition, books, and academic equipment costs. The full-time salary includes medical and dental care, as well as vacation time with full pay.
Current or prospective students of the Electronics Engineering Technician program at Conestoga College are eligible for the NCM SEP initiative.
This session will provide a great opportunity to speak with members of the Canadian Forces about careers in the Navy and allow you to experience interactive duties of Navy staff.
Forces Recruiting staff will be available to give detailed information about the Subsidized Education Program.
